it is almost a new year / my new fav book

So ya it is almost a new year which makes you think about what happened all year long and any one who knows me knows that I had a really crappy year. So I am excited to start a new one and hope it turns out better. I am not making any new years resolutions just going to try and do better at every thing and I hope to be able to read more I have a big list this year. Oh and if you like to read please read The Hunger Games way good way way good finished it in one day. It was rec. on stephanie myers web page. It is set in another world or something and it has these 12 districts that are ran by this one district called the capital and it makes the 12 districts participate in this reality tv show were they fight to the death. Each district has to send a boy and a girl from age's 12 to 18 and they are forced to try and kill each other off. The main character kartnis little sister that is only 12 was drawn out to go and she takes her place instead to go well that is all I am telling but read it,it is way good I liked it more then twilight and it is going to be a series too and the second book comes out this next year and I am dying to get. Well ya that is it I have a ton of christmas pictures to put up so as soon as I find my cord that goes from my camera to my computer I will load them up and put them on here, for the 5 people who look at my blog pathetic I know.

Vicor winter days and light parade

So in Victor where we live they have a fun light parade and all this fun stuff all day long it is pretty fun. It starts with a pancake breakfast that I thought was free and it wasn't and there wasn't even pancakes there was gingerbread waffles that Ruby wanted nothing to do with. We made some ornaments that were a hole buck for a piece of paper with glitter while kk ate both her's and Ruby's candy canes from Santa. So other then seeing Santa that wasn't very cool and it was a good thing we got to see him then because I thought our Ward christmas Party was at seven and it was at six we were way late and still eating when Santa came for 10 sec and we missed him ( was not doing good with the whole timing thing that night). After that they had some story telling thing at the library but we didn't go to that because John wanted to show us the house he is almost done building right now, and I mean it when i say he is building it, it is just him and one other guy doing the work some things get subed out like pluming and electrical. He is doing a great job I hope some day he can build us a house that nice. So any way we were going to go to the treasure Hunt at the Park but we took to long at the house and we missed it by seconds. I talked to some people when we got there and they said we just missed it bummer. Well later on that day we went and saw the live nativity and I felt so bad for the kids who had to do that. then we went to the free potato bar at the bar slash resturant and that was ok they had some cookies the kids could decorate and a movie playing on a big screen. Ruby just played with all the other kids while kk got a booster seat and sat in front of the movie like she was the only one watching the movie it was so funny I would have taken a picture if I wasn't so bussy moving her every min. Well after that we went outside with everybody to watch the parade it was pretty short there was about ten trucks and trailers and fire truck all decorated with christmas lights and they go up about 4 blocks and turn around and go back down the 4 blocks they came up, it like watching two exactly the same parades in a row. Then right after they had a very decent fire work display I thought the whole thing was kind dumb but my kids loved it and there is nothing dumb about that and I way love fire works even if it is negitive zero. Next year I am hoping I can go to the CHristmas play they put on at the play mill after the fireworks it was to late for my kids and they wouldn't have sat still, maybe next year just me and ruby can go I think she might like it. Hopeful next year I will know what is going on better and make it to the treasure hunt on time too.

decorating the christmas tree

well decorating the tree is about as decrotive as i am getting this year. Other wise my kids will just un decorate and then i decorate again, well it's just a game I really don't like to play. But we do have a christmas tree but i only decorate the top of it so the kids can't get the decorations and if you notice in the pictures i have a big gate around the tree too. like I said I hate the decorate un decorate game. Sorry my pictures suck at least you can't really tell how bad I am at decoratin the chistmas trees. OH but it was fun for my kids. Ruby get's so excited because she also knows her birthday is right by christmas so now she asks me every day if it is time for her to open presents yet, and she reminds me that she wants a pink "birdieay" cake. OH and the first picture is Ruby's idea of decorating the tree, you cant tell that much but along with my scarf she threw a bunch of her play dishes on there too.We decorated the tree about three day's ago and that gate dose not help that much just so you know, if my kids see something they like or want no gate is going to stop them.

ok so i don't know why but my pictures of this event are either not loading or taking way to long. I got one picture on here and it is the dumb one, but i did get them to upload on to my facebook page so you can look there but i am going to keep trying to get them on here. Any way yay we have a christmas tree it was really fun we went up in the mountains by our house. As we were driving around trying to pick out our tree John would either choose all most dead ones or really huge ones thinking he was so funny (it got old fast). Then he found a good one we actually just cut the top off a bigger tree which is good because it dosen't
kill the tree I like that. i am very pleased with our tree it is not to charlie brown, I would really love a fake one they look better and they don't die and leave messes but john hates fake tree's. Besides it is fun going and cutting down and my kids loved it. If I ever get my pictures on here there is a good one of john with the girls in front of the tree and john has slammed the ax into the ground and ruby is standing by it. don't worry we never let her hold the ax or anything it just looks like we are bad parents. The best part though was on the way home we some some moose, a mom and her baby, I got a really bad picture of it. It was foggy an we couldn't get to close, but it was pretty cool. Well we have the tree decorated now but that is a whole other story with different pictures that i hope will load better then this.

happy thanksgiving

so we had food no surprise there and then we hit some golf balls in the back that was my thanks giving yep that was it. So now john and i are watching fred claus so happy thanksgiving.

my tribute to twilight

yay i figured out how to put layouts and music on my page and of corse i decided to do a layout that reminds me of twilight in honor of my new favorite movie that just came out i loved it. please if you haven't read the books read them before the movie and yes of corse there better.

lack of sleep is no good

So I stayed up way to late going through pic's of my sister and her little girl  I am putting a scrapbook together for her (yes I scrap book but I still cant make my page cute). I am going to post some fun pic I am going to use in the book too so check them apples out. Well any way back to the fact that now I am way tired and no it not all because of staying up that late. It all started with that and ruby not going to sleep so she came in to my room after i finally started to fall asleep at midnight. That is really late for me now, so she slept in our bed at the bottom so I got no sleep because I was so worried about kicking her all night, I know what you are thinking why the heck didn't I just move her after she fell a sleep well that thought just didn't acure to me my mind dose not work at at night. Well after way to long at about 3 or 4 in the morning ruby rolled over to the middle of the bed in between john and I and I finally started to sleep good, well as soon as I hit the rem stage at about 5:30 kk woke up and had to come to bed with us too but she didn't sleep. She was wide awake and kicking me and pinching me and thinking it was so funny( it wasn't it, it sucked). Well that was the end of me trying to sleep so I have been up since yesterday basicly and i am tired.

so ya i am giving up on making my blog cute it is just going to be info and pictures right to the point no frills. I do not know how to make it cute my friend roxy had it cute for a minute and then i tryed to change it and well this is my blog now. maybe some day i will figure it out but today is not that day.
